Business Medical Announces Autumn Roadshow
It’s that time of year again when the Business Medical team hit the road to discuss all things business!
Dates & Location
With the crisis in Irish General Practice being so widely reported, Business Medical decided to focus this year’s talks on both retiring and new entrant GPs highlighting that there are tax-efficient opportunities available to both.
Many GP trainees are seeking better resourced opportunities abroad but Business Medical is confident that there are still viable career opportunities in Irish General Practice, will demonstrate this and will also discuss the taxation and business implications of the various routes into practice.
With so many retiring GPs simply shutting the practice doors behind them, Business Medical continues to encourage early engagement to allow sufficient time to structure tax-efficient exit and succession strategies and will explore these strategies at the seminars. The Business Medical team will also take attendees on a whistle-stop tour through the GMS pension scheme and will provide practical advice for those nearing retirement.
New addition to the team, solicitor Joe McVeigh, will discuss potential redundancy obligations GPs face on retirement and other employer obligations GPs must address.
As always, the Business Medical roadshow promises to be informative, current and specific to General Practice and should not be missed.
Each seminar has been approved by the ICGP for:
- 3 External Credits
- 5 GMS Study Days
There is no seminar fee but places are restricted so registration is essential.
